Basic
Obedience Training
La Paloma’s basic retriever obedience
class will pave the road to success
and allow you to communicate better
and enjoy your dog. This program
will teach your dog to sit, stay, kennel
(load in crate, vehicle, etc.), walk
on and off leash, come when called,
return to the heel position, and show
your dog how to be a “people pleaser.”
Clients are encouraged to participate
in the training program. La Paloma’s
goal is to provide the owner with the
information that will enable them to
correctly and confidently deal with
situations that may have frustrated
them in the past and/or prevent future
behavioral problems
The benefits of owning an obedient dog
are priceless. La Paloma’s retriever
obedience class will give you the freedom
to include your dog in everyday activities
and the confidence that you will have
control in ‘real life’situations.
All
training requires a minimal degree of
control. Basic obedience commands
include sit', 'stay', 'come' and 'heel.’
All dogs should display a familiarity
with these commands and be able to perform
them most of the time while on lead.
